files on the virtual drive take space on my hard drive

I have created a virtual drive to store my files. But files on the virtual drive still take space on my hard drive. how can I configure the settings so the files on the virtual drive would not take space on my hard drive? windows, laptop

hello! by default, files in the Internxt virtual drive are stored in the cloud and do not consume local disk space. What you see in File Explorer are cloud placeholders that represent your files, but the content itself is not downloaded to your device until you open it or explicitly make it available offline. If you're noticing significant storage usage on your hard drive, you could share your logs to our team to hello@internxt.com. You can get them from the app settings > Preferences, click on "Open Logs" https://help.internxt.com/en/articles/6577280-where-can-i-fi… This will help us determine whether you're seeing expected behaviour or if there may be an issue we should investigate further.
