"File sieze too big" with ~ 1 kb and ~0 kb txt files

I'm having a lot of Sync "File size too big" problems with some software config and data files (40 files). The software is not running and has not run for several weeks, but still files are unnable to sync, and now I'm getting this message. Folder filenames are somewhat long, but full file paths are no longer than 200 chars.
